Safeguarding statement

The campaign must practise the care it asks of others.

This website is designed to inform, support safer choices and direct visitors to official resources without collecting sensitive disclosures.

Publication principles

1

No disclosure collection

The site does not provide a form for reporting abuse. The contact tool runs on the visitor’s device and does not transmit or store its contents.

2

Verified referral information

Support numbers link back to official sources and show a verification date. They should be reviewed routinely.

3

No survivor story extraction

Future stories, images and testimonials require informed, specific permission, risk assessment and a genuine ability to withdraw before publication.

4

Privacy-aware design

The site avoids analytics and third-party embeds in this release. The Quick exit control does not claim to erase device history.

5

No unofficial naming lists

THDTH will not publish allegations, crowdsource names, identify suspected offenders or invite the public to submit people for inclusion on a register. Concerns belong with authorised reporting and investigative bodies.

Scope and limits

THDTH is a national public-education and accountability campaign, not an emergency, health, counselling, investigative or legal provider. The campaign advocates for a controlled-access Sex Offenders Register but does not operate a register, conduct criminal-record checks, decide who qualifies for entry or provide employers with clearance decisions.

External agencies remain responsible for their own services. Aya Institute for Women, Politics and Media should approve named contacts, partner lists, event details and any data claims before publication.
